Process
- Request: your deletion request is recorded. During this time you can't start new tests or campaigns, but you can still view and download your data.
- 7-day grace period: if you change your mind, choose Cancel deletion request in the same place.
- Deletion: in the first hourly run after the period ends, your account is permanently anonymised and your sessions stop working. This step cannot be undone.
If you want a copy first, use Profile → Download my data (JSON) before deleting.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address (replaced with an anonymous placeholder), profile photo and the link to your Google account.
- Your tester profile (device, Android version, country, languages, categories).
- Your device registrations, install IDs and notification tokens.
- Your notifications.
- All evidence images you uploaded (files are removed from storage).
- Encrypted test-account instructions for your apps.
- Ongoing test assignments end and your open campaigns are cancelled. Unused app credits and credits end without compensation; any refund owed under the Terms of use is handled separately.
What is kept, anonymised
These records are kept so other users' campaign reports and the credit accounting stay intact, but they are no longer linked to your name or email:
- Task submissions, bug reports, feedback and ratings (part of the developer's campaign record).
- Participation days, check-ins and usage-signal summaries inside campaigns.
- Credits ledger entries (remaining credits lapse without compensation).
- Disputes, complaints, restrictions and the audit log, including the deletion event (for security and legal claims).
- App and campaign records you created (package name, app name, status).
They are kept for as long as the related campaign and accounting records are kept. Payment records are kept for the period required by tax and commercial law; our hosting providers' technical logs follow their short-term retention settings.
If you typed personal information into free-text fields (submissions, bug reports, feedback), email info@testbunny.co before deleting your account and ask us to remove that content.
Deleting data without deleting the account
- Delete individual evidence images that are not yet attached to a submission.
- Turn off the usage signal in your profile and remove Usage Access in Android Settings.
- Edit your tester profile at any time.
- To delete other records, email info@testbunny.co.
Your Google Group membership and Play closed-test participation live at Google; leave the group and the Play testing programme for those.
