Parties and scope
These terms are between you and Noyan Kalay (individual developer, Turkey; info@testbunny.co), who operates the Tester website, Android app and API (the "Service"). Personal data is handled under the Privacy policy.
Every account is a developer account: you can always add apps and open campaigns. Testing other people's apps is optional, and you can pause tester mode at any time. You only need to accept these terms once.
Account and eligibility
- You must be at least 16. To buy a campaign plan you must be of legal age (18) or authorised to act for a business.
- You sign in with your Google account. One account per person; you may not share your account.
- Your profile (device, Android version, country, languages) must be accurate; matching depends on it.
What the Service is and isn't
Tester is a quality assurance (QA) platform that connects Android developers who need a real closed test with real testers, and manages the test through tasks, bug reports and day-by-day participation records.
- We are not affiliated with Google. We do not guarantee Google Play production access; that decision is Google's alone.
- Nothing in the Service is verified by Google (
verifiedByGoogle: falsein the API). The source of every piece of information (platform record, format check, self-reported, developer-reported, device signal) is shown separately. - Users join the Google Group, opt in on Play and work in Play Console themselves; the Service never shows these as done when they are not.
- App installs, Play ratings or reviews are never bought or incentivised.
Testers
- Testers are never paid money under any circumstances. Accepted, real testing work earns credits only.
- In a campaign you join, you must join the Google Group, opt in on Play and keep participating for the period (Google's requirement is 14 continuous days). You can be in at most 3 long-running campaigns at once (admins may change this limit).
- Developers review your task submissions; you can appeal a rejection.
- Closed test builds are confidential: don't share the app, screenshots or test-account details outside the campaign.
- The apps you test belong to third parties and are installed at your own risk.
Credits
- Credits are not money and have no cash value. They cannot be cashed out, bought, sold, transferred or moved to another account.
- Credits are only earned for accepted, real testing work (accepted tasks, confirmed bug reports, participation for the period). Current amounts are shown in the app.
- Credits awaiting review cannot be spent. Credits may be reversed after a rejection, fake evidence or abuse; you can appeal.
- Credits can only fund a campaign for your own app, after you have completed a minimum number of assignments.
- Credit rules may change going forward. Credits lapse without compensation when your account is deleted or the Service ends.
Developers, payment and refunds
- To open a campaign you buy an app credit: one app credit opens one campaign on the plan you choose (Starter with 15 testers, Pro with 25 testers). Current prices and bundle discounts are shown before payment. App credits never expire. Card payments will be processed by Polar; your card details never reach us. Until the payment provider is connected, orders are saved as “payment pending” and app credits are added when the order is approved. You can also fund a campaign with credits earned by testing.
- If you cancel a campaign opened with an app credit before recruiting starts (draft, validation, ready), the credit returns to your account automatically. If you cancel while recruiting, the refund request is reviewed and you're told the outcome. Once testing has started the credit counts as used and is not refunded except where the law requires; testers receive compensation credits in proportion to their active days. You can cancel an order awaiting payment at any time, and you can request a refund for unused app credits from a paid order.
- We don't guarantee Google production access. A rejection or a “more testing required” decision from Google is not by itself grounds for a refund; you can open a follow-up campaign for the same app.
- You are responsible for accurate app details and closed-testing link, and for your app complying with the law and Google Play policies.
- Only provide an app-specific test account; never ask for or share a Google account password.
- Review submissions and bug reports honestly and within a reasonable time; give a reason when you reject.
Prohibited conduct
- Fake activity: bots, emulators, automation, or marking work done without really using the app.
- Fake, borrowed or reused evidence; copied text.
- Multiple accounts, account sharing, or testing on someone else's behalf.
- Asking for, sharing or entering a Google account password anywhere.
- Manipulating installs, ratings or reviews; offering credits for Play ratings or reviews.
- Submitting apps that contain malware or violate the law or Google Play policies.
- Sharing other people's personal data without redacting it; harassment, abuse, spam.
- Attacking the Service, circumventing security measures or scraping data without permission.
Review, restriction and suspension
If we suspect a violation, we review the records. Where needed we may reverse credits, place a time-limited or open-ended restriction on your account (no new assignments, no campaigns) or suspend it. A suspended account can still view and export its data, appeal and request deletion. Missing a single day is never treated as fraud automatically. You can appeal every decision in the app; for serious or repeated violations we may terminate the agreement.
Content and licence
Content you submit remains yours. You allow us to use your submissions, bug reports, feedback and evidence to provide the Service, and to show them to the developer of the relevant campaign so they can test and improve their app. Developers' apps and brands remain theirs.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for Google's decisions, for harm that third-party apps you test cause to your device or data, or for indirect damages. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant campaign in the last 12 months. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and any liability that consumer law does not allow us to limit, is unaffected.
Termination and changes
You can delete your account at any time: Account deletion. We may update these terms and will announce material changes with an in-app notification before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Turkish courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over disputes. Consumers may also apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts where they live under Law No. 6502.
